Puppy Bowl or Super Bowl? Which was your favorite this year?

Personally, we can’t resist adorable puppies frolicking about and showing off their athleticism and cuteness. As pet lovers, the Puppy Bowl is the highlight of our Super Bowl experience.

This year’s game was filled with not only puppies, but also included a Kitty Halftime Show, a live Tweeting bird named Meep, Hedgehog Cheerleaders, and Hamster Blimp Pilots.

There was one puppy who’s athleticism and stellar moves earner her the MVP award.

According to USA Today, “This year’s Puppy Bowl Bissell “Most Valuable Puppy” prize went to the most courageous pooch on the field: Marta, a Schnauzer/Beagle mix, from the adoption organization AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport. She out-hustled and out-muscled dogs twice her size to take the MVP title.”

Our favorite Super Bowl commercial was undoubtedly Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser, The Clydesdales: Brotherhood ad. The heartwarming ad featured a baby Clydesdale that is looking to bond with its trainer.

Fans are able to vote on the name of the baby horse (via Facebook or Twitter), only adding to the cute factor of this ad.

What was your favorite highlight of either the Puppy Bowl or the Super Bowl? Leave your response in the comment section below!
